Welcome to my website.  As an experienced technical writer and copy editor, I believe that documentation must be easy to read in order to be effective. With that philosophy in mind, I have tried to keep this website as simple as possible.

Many writers and document owners publish their work without first having it edited and proofread by somebody trained in these disciplines. This is a great mistake, because however good at writing you are, your work is very likely to contain spelling and grammatical errors, which will detract from the impact of your message.

English is my mother tongue, and I have over twenty years' experience of writing and reviewing official reports and correspondence for the British government, together with ten years' experience of writing, editing, and proofreading business documentation in the software, supply chain (APICS) and banking industries.

I have been a member of the STC (Society for Technical Communication) since 2001, and my clients include Saxo Bank, Microsoft. and Fidelity Information Systems.
